What your tracking status means

General practical guidance; destination-specific requirements must be checked with official sources.

Label created or information received

An electronic record exists. That status alone does not confirm that a carrier has physically collected the parcel. Ask the sender for the handover receipt if collection remains unclear.

In transit

Read the most recent event and its location. A broad transit status can cover several different stages. A gap between scans does not establish the parcel’s current physical location.

Out for delivery or ready for pickup

Read the carrier’s instructions for delivery attempts, collection identification, and collection deadlines. An estimated delivery date can change.

Exception or delivered

An exception needs the event text for context. If a parcel says delivered but is missing, check the official delivery evidence and contact the sender or carrier. Never assume a status alone proves the cause of a problem.
