Choose the outer packaging

Use packaging that suits the item and the service. Avoid damaged boxes and packaging that bulges. Check carrier instructions for unusual shapes or fragile contents.

Protect the contents

Wrap items individually where appropriate. Separate fragile surfaces and fill empty space so contents stay in place. Special goods may require specific packaging rather than a standard box.

Close and label

Seal the package securely. Remove old labels and unrelated barcodes, then attach the current label where it remains visible. Check both delivery and return details.

Measure the finished parcel

Weigh and measure after packing. Keep a photograph of the contents and final package for your records. Follow the chosen carrier’s published packaging requirements.
