Check the event time, not just the date you last refreshed the page. Identify which carrier supplied the event and whether the parcel is still awaiting collection, moving, held, or ready for pickup.
Check with the source
Open the official carrier site and check service notices for the route. Ask the sender whether any promised date was an estimate or a carrier-backed commitment.
Prepare a support request
Have the tracking number, dispatch receipt, dates, item description, and delivery address available. Ask the sender or carrier which party must start an inquiry.
Avoid guessing the outcome
A quiet tracking page does not prove loss. Follow the carrier’s inquiry process and claim windows. Record any case number and the promised follow-up date.
